“ We ordered something from every section of the menu. The egg rolls were amazing! The sweet and sour chicken with pineapple was the best I've ever had. It's not that hot pink color that it usually is, here its brown. The egg drop soup was perfect. Perfect. I wouldn't recommend the mushroom egg noodles just a little bland. But overall would recommend! ”
“ Classic fake Chinese. Christmas Story classic. The noise, the wood, the booths, the history. The staff works hard and moves fast. Food is exactly what you'd expect. ”
“ History with noodles. Come to enjoy Mai Wah Chinese culture history for dinner. Read the story of this place first, then climb up the long staircase and sit in one of the booths for a outlandish experience. Food is good, not American-sweet for a change. Thank you! Busy staff but friendly. Don't miss the restrooms with the swinging doors. ”
“ Excellent food. It was very busy, but they got us right in. Took a little bit to order the food, but then it came very very fast. It was soooo good. No egg in the fried rice so I was able to eat it. It is unfortunate that it isn't handicap accessible. You enter and go up a good flight of stairs. It doesn't quite feel like a restaurant. There are tables and chairs in individual, offset booths. It was a bit loud, but private at the same time. Considering the business is 111 years old, it is definitely a magical experience and worth the 65 mile 1 way drive. Looking forward to going back. The picture is the food we took home. ”
“ We were concerned based on previous poor reviews, but dinner was outstanding and our waitress was personable and knew what was good on the menu! ”
“ Who knew some of the best Chinese food was in Butte?!?!? Originally from the northeast coast, I was pretty stubborn and believed the best Chinese food was in Chinatown NYC, but Pekin Noodle Parlor changed my mind. Noodles are made from scratch and they actually use chow mein noodles in the chow mein (yea so many places use low mein noodles and it is annoying). For 30 dollars we got a delicious feast. Spare ribs fell right off the bone. The flavors were amazing. The service was friendly, fast, and awesome. I will dream about the delicious fried rice. Pure deliciousness in every dish. ”
“ Never had a bad experience here! The food is delicious and there's so much history when you eat here! This is the oldest Chinese restaurant in America! So come and feast on a taste of history! The picture is combo C I believe. And the pic on the right is my latest visit. Szechuan Beef and shrimp chop suey. ”
“ Awesome experience. Friendly staff, food is delicious. Rustic and hearty. Dated but in a way that evokes a real experience while you imagine this same meal being served here 100 years ago to hungry miners and guys with monocles and top hats and ladies with those dresses that are like 12 dresses. Definitely a place with an amazing and Interesting history that could only exist in Butte. Glad we checked it out. ”
